The Holiday Train

On our sausage hunt, Joy and I found the holiday train! It smells like Christmas and the music is more obnoxious than in Macy's. We didn't get any of the candy canes that the elves were handing out, but we did get to see Santa Claus. I know he's from the North Pole, but don't you think he'd get at least somewhat cold?

Election Night!

Election Night was totally surreal. We got in the gates and onto the grass by 9:40 and the gates opened around 8:30. Who knew that they'd call the election by 10?! There were people still standing in line to vote when they called it, but it was a bittersweet night for me. Obama won, but prop 8 passed, another 8 years for inequality in California! I'm betting on another 50 for the US.

Halloween/Free Chipotle

Yes that is a tinfoil bird on my head...the deal was, wear tinfoil, get a free burrito from Chipotle. I didn't really have a planned costume, I just wore whatever I could find and called myself "Horribly Mismatched Becky". Joy was a red eyed tree frog!!!

Ladybugs Attack

Those tiny buggers were everywhere! They're so tiny that I couldn't get any really great pictures of them, but you get the idea. I think that they might be from Asia, but either way they were an infestation. We had some stuck between the screen and the window...they're still there, but now they're dead.
