Chicago Weather

Here's a journal of the weather in Chicago. So far we've had dry heat, humid heat, humid rain, cold rain, and intense fog all in one month. Now it's actually getting cold. I thought my nose was going to fall off the other morning. It's sunny and beautiful, but that Artic chill really is chilly.

Lifehouse Concert

I'm not a fan of Lifehouse, but it's a $3 concert on campus, why not?
I went with a few friends from my floor and met up with a friend from Regis Hall.
Not being a huge fan, I was a little confused when the band came out because they seemed so much older than what I'd seen in pictures. This was when Sarah informed me that this was the opening band. I was impressed, I didn't think LU had it in them to get an opening band, and they were pretty good! It was country music, but I can get down with that. The other girls weren't as crazy about them as I was, but we still had fun. An hour and many toe-tappin' moments later, Lifehouse came out and got the fairly small crowd all riled up, especially the girls.

On the end is Morgan, then me, Sarah, and Kathleen

Chicago

I'm here and I'm loving it. Millennium Park is always so much fun. Everything there seems to peculiar and you can't decide if you like it, but it's great to look at, and sometimes great to play in.
The kidney is not supposed to be interesting in itself, you're supposed to see what's around around it. That's the best part. Sometimes you can't see yourself in it, and then
other times you can't get rid of yourself (if that makes sense).
The fountain is ridiculous. A little creepy that there are people's faces on it, but great for the kids to play in.
The theater is wonderful and I've already seen an Opera there!

My First Blog Ever

Firstly, I'd like to make a point that this is new for me (clearly) and I'm still in awe that "Blog" is an actual word. Give me some time and I'm sure I'll get it down, but for now I'm just going to clumsily put something attractive together.
